Peter and one other today trimmed several trees and removed a large cherry tree, including stump grinding. Overall the service was very good. Absolutely fantastic service. I needed three very large and unruly conifers cut down and removed to claim back our driveway. From first making contact with Peter, the service I received was exemplary. He arrived on time and the work was completed in a morning. All of the debris was removed, the driveway swept and every last twig taken away. On top of all this, Peter is very friendly and courteous. He even carried our little terrier over the branches after her walk. I was so impressed, I've asked Peter to prune some trees in my back garden. Hightly recommended.

Excellent friendly and professional service from start to finish. Removed trees and plants, pruned trees and shrubs- garden clearance/tidy -as I asked. Cleared away all debris. Peter and his team were all friendly and polite, turning up when they promised and focused on the job in hand. Nothing was too much for them. Impressed with the standard of work and the speed in which they were able to complete the job. You could tell the team take pride in their work. Would recommend them to friends and family, will use them in future. My only regret is I didn't call him sooner. I have got my garden back, thankyou!

I was so pleased with Mr Foley from our first contact on the phone, the visit for a quote and the best advice, until the final inspection and confirming the job done. He and his team arrived exactly at the agreed time having phoned us to confirm that we were ready for them. He came from Stockton to Hartlepool at the end of the next working day, assessed the job, listened to what we wanted, made valuable suggestions and gave a very reasonable quote.

He rang two days before the job to confirm arrangements. The team of four arrived as expected and set to work in a very purposeful manner - a proper team. They trimmed and shaped an overgrown Acer and three 12-14 ft conifers, as well as three shrubs at the back and three at the front. They cleared up as they went along and left the garden in a very tidy condition. Passers-by showed great interest and must have been impressed.

A great job done and we would certainly use Peter again and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Nov 2020 Stockton. The team felled a diseased flowering cherry and replanted in the same spot after grinding out the old stump. Also took out a large Laurel and ground the stump and roots. Very polite and considerate in the work, using boards to prevent damage to my lawn with the machinery. All waste removal and left very tidy. Would recommend.

We needed to remove a mixed 30m hedge which Mr Foley quoted at an extremely fair rate. The team turned up the following day and cut back the greenery and removed all the waste. The day after (as agreed) the team returned to grind down the stumps and made an excellent job of it. All safety measures were in place and they cleaned up as they went along. Needed Five stumps removing approx 30 years old, flourishing as it invaded several neighbours' gardens. Peter & crew removed it all (& tidied up after themselves) in about 6 hours in extreme heat. All my old fencing was taken away & soil raked over. My neighbours were pleased too! I would strongly recommend this business..

We had an enormous willow tree, around 35 years old, near 2 of the gardens boundaries and not easy to access. The canopy was creating a large shaded area and it did nothing to enhance the garden. Mr Foley gave us a quote to remove it and arrived to do the work with his team on time. The 4 of them worked hard felling the tree and removing the large quantity of branches and trunk (which had to be cut into smaller pieces to be carried from the garden). They cleaned up thoroughly leaving nothing for me to do except look at the improvement they had made to the garden. They were pleasant and polite throughout and I have no hesitation in recommending them. I will certainly use them for any similar work I need doing in the future. Absolutely outstanding service. Had a large conifer in front garden and rang for a quote to remove it. The very polite gentleman turned up within the hour and the quote was fantastic. I had 8 conifers which were 20 feet high and a little out of control.. I texted Peter Foley and he replied within the hour. He told me to e mail a few photos. I did. He gave me a price........a good price I will add.

We arranged a date and time. He and his team turned up 10 minutes beforehand and prepared the tools.

Within 2 hours they were well into the second half of the job. Two hours later all trees were down and Peter was grinding out the stumps.

The team tidied everything up. I feel very relieved my problem is solved.

Peter came over and gave us a quote that seemed that good, we didn't bother getting other quotes. Additionally, you knew you were not dealing with cowboys, because Peter told us he would be contacting the council to check that there wasn't a preservation order on the tree. There wasn't. The job that was carried out was outstanding and they left my garden, the surrounding areas and the road in immaculate

condition; this being done in torrential rain.

In February 2013 Peter and his team did such a great job of cutting back ten 30 foot hawthorn trees (and at a good price) that I didn't bother getting other quotes this year for 5 other trees and a large hedge. 

I phoned him yesterday, he looked at the job today and work to be completed next week.

I've had Peter out three times now and he always does a first class job. He is cheerful, he understands exactly what I want and advises the best way to deal with difficult areas. He has recently taken 10 feet off the top of a row of rampant conifers, cutting them right back and shaping them, and has also cut back a heavy growth of ivy all round the back garden. He always clears everything away leaving the garden neat and tidy.

I would recommend him to anyone.

Mr Foley was recommended to me and I will certainly recommend him to anyone who requires his services. 

Having weighed up the options of hiring my own tools and a skip including my own labor when I was given the quotation it was a done deal. Not only in my opinion was it a fair price you can just stand back and watch Mr Foley do his thing and there is no risk of personal injury.

It is noticable that Mr Foley and his assistant really enjoy what they do, they have all the best equipment and as well as being efficient they were extremely polite and were happy to answer any questions.
